Entrinsik Honors Operational BI Award Winners at Informer User Conference

Entrinsik Inc announced the winners of the 2012 Operational Business Intelligence (BI) Awards. The awards were presented at a networking luncheon at the 2012 Informer User Conference (ICON) held this year at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in beautiful Raleigh, NC.

As sponsor of the Operational BI Awards, Entrinsik invited Informer customers to share their successes and describe how they are applying the power of Informer to improve operational efficiency.

This year's Grand Prize Award was presented to McDaniel College, a private four-year college located in Westminster, Md. McDaniel College created a web-based reporting environment that combines real-time data from multiple files and allows ad-hoc analysis to be done by active student programs, majors, minors, home state, class level, ethnicity, gender, anticipated completion data and other factors.

"The ability to slice and dice data with Informer's Analytics allows our decision-makers to have accurate, detailed data upon which to base decisions and move the College forward", says Cathy Brown at McDaniel College. "And perhaps the coolest thing of all—our President and our Institutional Research folks can run this at any hour of the day or night. Informer puts the reporting power into the hands of the decision-makers. Our President refers to Informer and its capabilities as a 'game changer.'"

Entrinsik also recognized the following award winners at ICON 2012:

  • Hartwick College
  • Roanoke College
  • Summit Professional Education
  • Westminster College

"Informer is an easy to use, quick to implement operational BI solution designed to support decision making with hard facts, and we've received a flood of award submissions from customers describing in detail how Informer does just that," said Sharon Shelton, VP Marketing at Entrinsik. "We are delighted to recognize the resourcefulness, ingenuity and hard work demonstrated by our customers."
