We are looking for a senior person to manage the IT
department. We are a rapidly growing automobile finance
company doing business nationally for over 25 years. This is
a hands-on job with a variety of necessary skills as more
fully described below.
The Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years experience
in supporting a UniVerse, Unidata or Pick database
environment. He or she should also have good communication
skills and be able to interface with all levels of
management and end users. The individual needs to determine
new system requirements and communicate these to the
development staff. In addition, the applicant must be able
to troubleshoot and patch existing legacy systems.
Experience in Web access to MV data a plus.
Experience in network management is required. The
Individual will be responsible for a 200+ user network
including remote sites on an expanding wide area network.
Windows NT is a plus. Furthermore the Individual is required
to provide the "large" overview and give administrative
guidance to the IT staff.
Applicants experienced with telephone service on a PBX
will be given extra consideration. Nortel Option One system
experience is a plus. Applicants without this experience
must be willing to learn.
Experience with Visual Basic 6, VB Script, RedBack, CGI
or Java a plus.
