While the nation debates health care reform, Symmetry Information Systems enables medical practices to save on operational costs and national resources through electronic data management. To achieve their results, Symmetry solicited SRP Computer Solutions
, Inc. to help produce advanced data management modules and utilities.
Last month Symmetry unveiled a major update to their flagship product, General Medical System/2. Several new and enhanced features were added to give health care providers more ways to move away from inefficient and wasteful paper-based information tracking. A few of these additional options include customized EMR notes, coding assistant, hierarchical menu navigation, and better calendar displays.
"We chose to use SRP
's user interface products and consulting experience because we wanted to provide our users with the best combination of aesthetics and functionality." said Ray Chan, Senior Product Manager of Symmetry Information Systems. "Several years ago we decided to build our applications using the SRP
FrameWorks programming toolkit. Our success with this product made our decision to continue a partnership with SRP
easy."
Chan reports that as each practice acclimates to the new features they are seeing immediate benefits. "Due to the anticipated popularity of this rollout we have been recommending that our customers schedule their training as soon as possible. We have been very pleased to see how well received this release has been."
