What is it? Should you learn it and how do you develop in it? Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML, pronounced zammel) is one of those new topics that everyone is talking about.
XAML is used extensively in the .NET Framework 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 technologies, particularly in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) - where it is used as a user interface mark up language to define UI elements, data binding, event handling, and other features - and in Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), in which workflows themselves can be defined using XAML.
This workshop will show you how XAML works, where you can use it, and where the future of your desktop applications may be heading. Make sure you bring your laptop!
