MITS Partners with Systematic to Address a Growing Need for Customized Reporting System

Management Information Tools, Inc ., a leading developer of business intelligence and reporting software, is pleased to announce its partnership with SYSTEMATIC, a Toronto based, premier provider of rental and mobile equipment software solutions.

Recent advancements to the operational reporting environment, MITS Report, have allowed MITS to provide SYSTEMATIC with a true ad-hoc reporting tool that seamlessly integrates with their existing ERP solution. MITS President, Fred Owen states, "Our partnership with Systematic is particularly exciting because it allows MITS to build on our offering through a commitment to support their SQL Server™ and Oracle™ based technology. We feel this is an ideal opportunity to combine MITS ' reporting expertise with Systematic's proven ERP solution."

The new partnership enables SYSTEMATIC to expand on its existing reporting structure to offer clients a wider range of flexible reporting options. The MITS reporting engine will be embedded into SYSTEMATIC Rental Management 6.1, providing clients with an easy-to-use method for consolidating information across multiple data sources. Clients can make changes to their reports, add sub-totals, apply auto-filtering, and set up report scheduling. The SYSTEMATIC MITS partnership was initiated in response to the growing needs of equipment rental organizations for a customized reporting system.

"The requirement for detailed information is increasing; our clients want to view their data in a way that supports analysis and efficient business decisions. The inclusion of the MITS reporting engine in SYSTEMATIC Rental Management ensures our clients have a complete and flexible software solution," said Nigel Miller, COO, SYSTEMATIC. "Our product will ship with standard reports that can be easily tailored to fit each client's unique business needs."

Announcing PickDP.NET for Visual Studio .NET 2005, Java Data Provider, Reporting Services 2005 Connector and High Performance Proxy Server

Integral Solutions & Systems , original creators of the Pick Data Provider for .NET and other middleware products is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a complete suite of .NET and Java middleware products for MultiValue operating environments. After five years of production testing running on mission critical production systems, the ISS Middleware Components have been significantly enhanced to fully support the latest development tools and are now available to all MultiValue customers directly from ISS at a fraction of the cost of similar products in the market.

"MultiValue customers demand a product suite that is reliable, delivers high performance connectivity, requires less database licenses and is reasonably priced" explains Manuel Beltran, President and Chief Technologist of ISS. "For many years, MultiValue customers have been penalized by paying high prices for enabling technology that could extend the value of their investment on MultiValue Technology" continues Beltran.  "We originally engaged with a MV vendor in an exclusive relationship that has ended. Now we are ready to offer our products directly to the MultiValue community at a very competitive price and without any hooks or dependencies or upgrades of any kind" concludes Beltran.

The ISS Pick Data Provider for .NET and ISS Java Data Provider products  enable the latest IDEs from Microsoft, Sun, IBM, Borland and others to natively access MultiValue data and execute Pick Basic subroutines with ease from .NET and Java respectively. In the .NET front, an Orcas release with LINQ support Beta Program will be announced soon.

The ISS Reporting Services Connector allows software developers and end users to create business intelligence reports directly out of MultiValue data files through existing dictionary definitions and distribute feature rich output in a variety of formats. All the flexibility provided by SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services to create, design, distribute and manage reports is supported for MultiValue data.

ISS's Proxy Server circles the ISS middleware offering with a high throughput gateway that maximizes user accessibility with minimum database license requirements.  As a result, deploying MultiValue applications with Java or .NET can scale tremendously. Effectively your MultiValue applications can support more users with less database licenses.

Mpower1 Creates BlueFinity Application Services International for Outsourced MultiValue and .NET Application Development

Mpower1 International is pleased to announce the latest addition to its growing list of "Business Mpowered" companies: BlueFinity Application Services (BAS).

BAS has been established to perform application development for any MultiValue database or .NET customer who does not have the in-house skills or time to develop, migrate or enhance their systems themselves.   Development can either be provided as a one time project or as part of an outsourced development and support contract depending on the needs of the customer.

Headquartered in the UK under the group holding company Mpower Partnership LLP and operating from offices around the world, Mpower1 is fast becoming the investment leader in the MultiValue marketplace.    BAS is now the fourth MultiValue company within the Mpower1 Group of Companies joining SC Systems, jBASE International and BlueFinity International .

Although BAS will utilize a number of programming languages and development tools from within the Mpower1 Group of Companies , the company particularly expect to leverage the use of BlueFinity's mv.NET in the .NET development environment to produce applications.

mv.NET is a comprehensive solution for accessing MultiValue databases from within Microsoft's .NET environment. It enables software designers to combine the power and flexibility of proven MultiValue technology with the feature rich .NET environment.  Its seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio provides a potent rapid application development environment fine-tuned for the MultiValue developer.  mv.NET provides a 100% native .NET interface to all MultiValue database platforms allowing .NET developers to access all aspects of the MultiValue system – both data and program code - from within the .NET application.

"We see a tremendous future in the MultiValue marketplace, particularly with the growing trend to use .NET to integrate other technologies with MultiValue business applications," explains Ian Leeper, Director of BAS. "BAS consultants are your best source for insight and knowledge about your MultiValue and .NET implementations."

Over the last five years, Mpower1 have invested in multiple complementary add-on products to enhance MultiValue databases and extend their existing functionality. The company plans to continue their investment and commitment to forward thinking solutions.  Leeper continues, "The addition of BAS to the Mpower1 Group of Companies further testifies to our long term commitment to the MultiValue market."
