Question:
We are a Unidata Site and want to install wireless scanners in our warehouse facility.  If you are already doing this, please email me with your scanner manufacturer and model of your scanner.

Details:
We are looking for a wireless, handheld, barcode scan gun that generally would be reading a 13 digit UPC barcode  (from our own shipping package).  We need the device to communicate back to our UniData Database (either through a Unix-UniData 'get' and 'send' command or some other direct on-line, 2-way method).

After receiving the barcode from the scanner device, we need to quickly send back a message (in some cases) to the originating scan gun.  The device must then be able to display a message, or at least light up or beep to inform the user to stop the package.

We will be placing these scanners at key departments in a vary large and loud warehouse facility.  We need approximately 125+ scanners.
