Availability of JAVA data provider for MultiValue

ISS is pleased to announce the availability of our Java Data Provider (JDP) product for the MultiValue market. Built on the success of our seamless implementation of our Pick Data Provider for .NET (PDP) product for Multivalue databases, our JDP product offers the same familiar level of connectivity and integration with existing MultiValue applications.

JDP is available as a Java jar and was built on the latest Java JRE 1.6 for the most up to date Java compatibility.  JDP allows software developers to leverage any Java IDE, such as Eclipse, NetBeans and others to leverage the best capabilities of the MultiValue environment and Java.  JDP, Just like PDP, provides native connectivity to MultiValue databases via a high performance socket interface balanced to handle multiple user concurrency.

If you are familiar with the functionality of PDP.NET , you will find JDP as easy to use in Java as its counterpart is for .NET. Connection management, opening files and dictionaries, reading and writing records with full error and event handling plus calling basic subroutines and an extensive library of multivalue functions are all seamlessly available to the Java developer. Whether you want to write a Java module or integrate your Multivalue application with Java, JDP offers a cost effective and reliable solution.

In addition, for multivalue applications that require maximum scalability to thousands of user sessions, JDP can be combined with the ISS Proxy Server, which can also run in combination with the PDP product.
